The Nazis assigned a black triangle badge for sex workers, lesbians, trans men, and those they called anti-social people. A downward-pointing triangle was sewn onto the shirts of camp prisoners to identify them as LGBT individuals. This symbol was enforced during the Nazi period in Germany from 1933 to 1945.
